WEEKLY REVIEW | GIN MARE EVENT

Hey Loves, I hope you have a great start into the new week and yes – I’m definitely back to my weekly review routine as you can see. 😉 Even though this week is a bit special as the reviews looks especially at a special event that I attended last week. Last thursday we got to know the team around the mediterranean Gin Mare plus went for an interesting restaurant and bar tour through Berlin. So what did we do exactly?

#MedTransfer – on the trail of Gin in Berlin

As the name already says – Gin Mare is a mediterranean Gin which is why we met especially at mediterranean places throughout Berlin. But we did not only meet at these places – we made our way there in the very stylish Gin Mare Bus which was definitely a great way to travel. 😉 Gin Mare is a Mediterranean gin that offers a rich taste with the flavors of rosemary, thyme, olives, basil and citrus fruits.

So the first pit stop was theÊ Bar “Kueche”(which means kitchen in german). here I got to learn about the new trend of “Food Pairings” where you combine cocktails with the perfect match of finger food. This meant in our case: delicious gin cocktails with lots of fresh sea food.ÊMy favorite was definitely the Triple Orange Cocktail with a dash of bitter orange marmelade and octopus cornetto.

The second meeting point was the newly opened restaurant “Slate”. The Slate Berlin offers a totally cool and stylish interior as well as delicious food. My favorite combo at this place was the goat cheese with mediterranean ingredients and the cocktail “Rosemarys’s Calling” (Gin Mare with thyme, orange bitter and lemon).

Very food-happy after such delicious dishes, the last meeting point was the rooftop terrace of famousÊ GRACE Bar at the HOTEL ZOO BERLIN. We were definitely lucky with the weather as it was one of those very last warm and mild late summer evenings. That’s why we indulged in one last drink and had a look at the fantastic skyline of Berlin.

So I hope you enjoyed this delicious food and gin tour as much as we did! It was definitely an evening to remember andÊ I guess this showed me again what I really enjoy in blogger events. When there is a story behind the product and you can defintely see the effort that the brand/ agency put into it – and make it an unforgettable experience! ?
