White snowflakes, warm candlelights, the scent of cinnamon and mulled wine, cozy blankets and festive decoration – I think by now you can already guess what todays post is about. But my goal is not only to get you into the right Christmas mood but also share some inspiration with you and some of my favorite recipes as Christmas is of course also famous for its food.
Getting into the mood – INSPIRATION
So depending whether you love Christmas (like me) or hate Christmas (like the Grinch *lol*) you’ll probably love to read this post or will skip it completely. 😀 Haha. But anyways, I just wanted to share with you some inspiration (mostly from my Pinterest board which I am obsessed with lately). To be honest I already had the urgent desire to buy a Christmas tree in the middle of November. I don’t know why I have that extremely pleasant anticipation this year. Probably because fall went by so quick and November just feels like a long, grey and dark month before Christmas illuminates us. 😀 So I hope you can share my “getting merry” mood with these pictures a bit.
X-Mas Food CRAVINGS
Apart from the decoration and “setting the mood” pictures, I also wanted to share some recipes with you. Not that I invented any of them. 😉 But of course Christmas is also the season of cooking and enjoying nice food. So I collected some of my favorite recipes (some I already tried, some not). Top of my list to try this Christmas is the mulled gin from Michèle from the fashion fraction. I mean seriously, how delicious does this drink look? hand in hand with it I think I’ll also try the bacon snack from … because this looks super-unhealthy but also super-nice at the same time. 😀 Christmas is the season, right?!!
So tell me abolut your feelings for the upcoming December month – are you a Christmas-lover from head to toe or are you the personalized Grinch?? 😀
