Hey Loves, today is a short recap of the last weeks “Vogue Fashion Night Out” here in Berlin. Traditionally, Vogue Magazine invites once per year in several cities for this kind of shopping celebration.
So in Berlin there were numerous locations taking part in this shopping night. We concentrated on the western part of Berlin. That’s why we visited Ku’Damm and KaDeWe of course, plus there also was an extra event at Bikini Berlin. Apart from that, we also went to the Mall of Berlin. But unfortunately, there was not much going on here and the mall was almost empty at 10pm even though the shopping event last until midnight.

Ihr Lieben, im heutigen Post berichte ich euch von der Vogue Fashion Night Out, die letzte Woche hier in Berlin stattfand. Vogue lädt traditionell einmal im Jahr in mehreren europäischen Städten zu diesem Shopping-Event ein. In Berlin haben sich verschiedene Locations an diesem Event beteiligt. Wir haben uns vor allem im Westen der Stadt aufgehalten. Daher ging es zum Ku’Damm und natürlich zum KaDeWe sowie ins Bikini Berlin. Außerdem haben wir noch die Mall of Berlin am Potsdamer Platz besucht. Allerdings war hier leider so gar nix los. Bereits um 22 Uhr war die Mall wie leergefegt, obwohl das Event bis Mitternacht andauerte. Wir kamen uns echt vor wie beim “Kaufhaus-Cop” , da wir teilweise komplett alleine durch die langen Flure der Mall geschlendert sind. 😀
Ku’Damm & KaDeWe
Strolling down the Ku’Damm there were mostly Premium Labels participating in the Vogue Fashion Night Out. We had a glass of champagne at MCM and listened to some cool music at Agent Provocateur. But most of the crowd made its way directly to the KaDeWe. They even had an purple carpet especially for this night. We went in to Louis Vuitton and Gucci to take a look at our next dream bag and to get a sense of the new LV-perfumes.
Am Ku’Damm haben sich vor allem die Basic- und Premium-Marken an der Vogue Fashion Night Out beteiligt. So haben wir zum Beispiel bei Agent Provocateur oder MCM vorbeigeschaut. Die meisten Besucher hat es aber wohl ins KaDeWe verschlagen, das eigens einen lilafarbenen Teppich ausgerollt hatte. 😉 Wir sind ganz entspannt bei Louis Vuitton und Gucci eingekehrt, um den nächsten Taschen-Traum auf die Wunschliste zu packen und an den neuen LV-Parfums zu schnuppern.
Night Circus @ Bikini Berlin
The Bikini Berlin just around the corner of Ku’Damm invited to a Night Circus Event. So the whole mall was decorated in black and white with lots of interesting stands. Furthermore you could get dressed and photographed in a circus-like theme.
Das Bikini Berlin liegt ja in unmittelbarer Nähe zum KaDeWe, sodas wir hier auch nochmal vorbei geschaut haben. Hier fand das Event unter dem Motto “Night Circus” statt. Die gesamte Mall war in schwarz-weiß dekoriert. Auch ein Fotoshooting unter dem Zirkus-Motto fand statt, an dem man sich beteiligen konnte. Außerdem gab es verschiedene Aktionen und Stände der verschiedenen Labels.
We especially liked the stand of “Edith”, where you could customize your own postcards. I went for a black and white stripe design embellished with golden lettering. Am besten gefallen hat uns der Stand von “Edith”, den wir eher per Zufall in der Mall gefunden haben. Hier konnte man seine eigenen Karten designen und direct drucken. Ich habe mich für eine Schwarz-weiß gestreifte Variante entschieden, auf der in goldenen Lettern “Style Appetite” prangt. Sieht doch ziemlich cool aus, oder? 🙂 Meine selbst erstellte Karte seht ihr demnächst bestimmt nochmal in einem anderen Post, bis dahin schaut doch mal auf ihrer Homepage oder Facebook-Seite vorbei.
We ended our evening then with some pizza & wine and some last snapshots on illuminated Ku’Damm. ♥
