THE LITTLE WHITE DRESS …
For me, one thing that belongs into summer like watermelons and ice tea is a white dress. I think it is one of the most versatile pieces. During the day, it’s the perfect partner for looking polished (for example for the office), but staying cool and comfortable at the same time. That’s why linen and cotton are probably the best options to go for. Also, white dresses offer lots of options how to style them. Whether you choose a minimalistic approach by adding black statement accessoiries and mules. Or you go for the more colorful option that I also chose today. I’ve paired the white cotton dress from New Look with coral satin heels and a straw basket. (By the way, the straw basket has become one of my favorite bags even though it is one of my most affordable ones, as I bought it at a small market last year in Palma de Mallorca.) I also felt that this summery combination goes pretty well with the current campaign from New Look which is all about summer dresses and the colorful “La La Land” scenery. Have you seen the movie? I really adore the play of Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone and of course – her cute dresses and the feeling of “the old Hollywood”. 🙂
