If you‘re searching for a nearby destination for total relaxation- this is it! Gran Canaria is just a 3 hours flight away – but it is the perfect place for lots of sun and hanging at the beach.
Plus, I think we found the best hotel on that island- the GOLD by Marina Aparthotel.To be honest, there is not much going on at Gran Canaria in aspects of sightseeing, so you’d better choose a really nice hotel and just enjoy the beach and pool life 🙂 Gold by Marina was just the best choice for us. A really young and stylish interior design, a big pool with nice snacks and a jacuzzi at the rooftop- what else could you ask for ?
Make sure you see the desert of Maspalomas – they are really impressing. There is also a cute boulevard with a lighthhouse at Maspalomas as well.
We rent a car for one day and just drove around the island- Puerto de Mogan was the most beautiful coastal town for a little stopover.
But most of our time we just relaxed at the hotel and enjoyed the sun at the pool or at the beach 🙂
