A trend that I would have never worn but now I am totally in love with: patent leather! How to style the trend & my favorite patent leather pieces after the click.

trend Report: Patent leather

If you would have asked me one year ago, I would never have thought that Patent leather is having a comeback. I mean, seriously, patent leather has always been kind of associated with other “industries” right?! It has not been on the catwalks or in stores for a looong time. But now, I am especially surprised at how cool the texture and material of patent leather looks! At the moment, you will find lots of pants, skirts and boots made of patent leather. And I promise you, they are easier to style than you think. Only thing that I would always recommend: wear boots or sneakers with it, so you dress it down. 🙂 Apart from that, I would also tend to combine basic shirts or sweaters, as the patent leather itself is quite an eyecatcher.

Tartan scarf & crossbody bag

First I opted for an all-black look without the scarf and another bag. But as I looked outside and how grey the weather was, I thought that it would be better to bring in some color. That’s why I began to search like crazy for my bright red tartan checked scarf, which has been with me already last year. Finishing the look with a bag to keep all my stuff, I also choose a little eyecatcher to seize the red from the scarf again.

So what do you think about todays look? Are you also into the patent leather trend & how do you like to wear it?
