WEEKLY REVIEW MARCH #2
Hey loves, another week is over and the last days have been pretty exciting. On Wednesday I went to my very first spinning session at my studio and OMG – I thought I would fall off my bike after 10 minutes. đ Hahaha! I already heard that spinning can be quite tough and really gets your heart frequency to the maximum. But – hallelujah – this was really hard!! After two songs I thought I would collapse so I took it a bit slower. And eventually, I felt fine again and was able to push my limits until the end of the lesson. So after one hour of spinning I felt really exhausted but also really happy, that I made it. Definitely a workout that I will do more often from now on. Rewarding myself for the hard training, I went for dinner with Janine to finally catch up. since fashion week. And on the weekend, my parents visited us for a belated birthday surprise for my mum. First we had lovely breakfast at Spindler (see below) and then went for a stroll through the city to enjoy the lovely sun. In the evening, we prepared a small surprise for my mum: we went to the “Scotch & Soda Show” at ChamĂ€leon theatre. The show, which is a mixture of jazz music, varietĂ© and acrobatics, was soo good! I can definitely recommend coming here (also suitable for tourists not speaking german).
Food of the week: Breakfast at Spindler
A stylish spot with amazing interior & lovely food in Kreuzberg? Don’t search any further, this is it! I think I’ve already told you before about this cool spot named Spindler. But as we went there again on Saturday for breakfast / brunch / lunch, I thought I should mention it again. I went for the poached eggs with salmon and English muffin, which was heavenly good. And I also tried the delicious mushroom risotto from my boyfriend. Apart from the food, I adore their beautiful interior and decoration, dominated by lots of wood and white with lots of tropical plants. And not to forget: you can easily go for a walk afterwards as you are right around Paul-Lincke-Ufer and the market of Maybachufer.
Posts of the week:
- If spring was a shoe, it would definitely be these pretty embroidered boots. Â And you also loved the outfit with volants blouse & Gucci bag as much as I did.
- I am becoming a fan of meal preparation lately – that’s why I immediately bookmarked these four delicious Jar Lunches to take with me in the office.
- And how cute is this little DIY for a hanging bag rack? Need to try it as well with cleaning and re-organizing our apartment in order to get spring-ready. đ
Shopping Favorites
With sunny Lisbon on my mind, I am craving bold colors and summery pieces even more. And how cool is that inflatable avocado by the way? Haha so in love with it!!
Upcoming Plans
This week is again quite packed with some appointments. And for sure I’ll be holding on to my workout routine (also the spinning lesson!! Even though it was so hard đ Haha). Also, on Thursday we will go for the premiere of “Beauty and the beast”, which I am pretty excited about. I cannot really imagine what the Disney film will look like with real actors but I do love Emma Watson so let’s see. đ Finally on Saturday we are off to Lisbon. Yayyyyy!! Finally my fist real holidays of the year has arrived and I can’t wait to relax and discover the city for a few days. Any last-minute tips are greatly appreciated.
Have an amazing week, Babes! ℠And stay updated on my Instagram and Instagram Stories.
