Bonjour & hello Loves, as you probably saw in the last few days on my Instagram, we finally made it to Paris and enjoyed some sunny days in the French capital. And with Paris Fashion Week kicking off, of course there were also many events, showrooms and meetings taking place. On one of our last days we took the metro to Le Marais and decided to explore this cute old but also very modern neighborhood. Le Marais is known for its galleries, small vintage shops as well as stylish boutiques.
After strolling around in the pretty little streets, we took a first break at The Frankie Shop which is the French pendant to the famous flagship in New York. From jewelry , accessories, cute paper work and of course many statement pieces it was hard to not leave the store with anything. 😉 Definitely worth stopping by!
Second, we visited the showroom of german designer Dorothee Schumacher, which is placed in a beautiful backyard on Rue Charlot. As the new collections wasn’t officially introduced yet when we visited, we couldn’t take any pictures. But the new collection showed lots of modern, futuristic silhouettes with a feminine touch. So stay tuned for a powerful new collection that will be presented soon!
Last but not least we stopped by the Showroom Thomasdufour, which introduced us to many new and exciting brands. One of my favorites was definitely forte_forte which is a ultra feminine brand with many eyecatching pieces, designed and produced in Italy. Moreover, the cute fauxfur pieces from accessory label a. et cetera were stunning too. Other brand s to remember were Roseanne as well as Stouls.
Ending our tour through Le Marais, we finished the day with some frites and a glass of RosÂŽ, enjoying the late afternoon sun and preparing for our flight back. Definitely a successful and every inspiring walk through the quarter of Le Marais and Paris Fashion Week.
