Hey Babes, so finally my blog posts about our Marrakech trip are going online and let’s start today with one of our fantastic Riads that we stayed at. A riad is a traditional morrocan building that always includes an inner courtyard. In my opinion – what a great invention!
With the buzzing city of Marrakech outside, you will immeditaley feel like being in an oasis. So when we arrived at the riad and the big wooden doors opened in front of us – we definitely felt like being in a whole different world. Sitting in the courtyard with a freshly brewed mint tea right in front of us, was the perfect start for our Marrakech trip. 😉
LE MEDINA PRIVILéGE | ROOMS & facilities
As described before, the riad features a big inner courtyard with lovely opportunities to have breakfast, lunch and dinner. Also,ÊLe Medina Privilge includes a big rooftop for tanning and enjoying a wine in the late evening. The rooms are as spacey as the courtyard – no exaggeration!
The interior is traditional but oh so stylish as well. My favorite part was definitely the spacious bath room with an extra big shower and the beautiful mosaic tiles. Or what do you think? Also, there was always some fresh water and traditional morrocan sweets waiting for us when we came home after a long day in the Medina (old city of Marrakech).
Le Medina Privilge is located in the quarter of “Kasbah” which is south from the big square but in the heart of the Medina of Marrakech. Also, it is right next to the old King’s Palace which is also one of the main attractions in Marrakech. So by 10-15 minutes walk you will also reach the Tombeaux Saadiens and the big Moscque. In general you will see that Marrakech is mainly about walking distances – maybe Taxi when it comes to the airport transfer or some sightseeing locations outside. 😉
LE MEDINA PRIVILéGE | Breakfast & Food Options
Last but not least – Food is always important right?! 😉 So I can assure you that the breakfast is more than extensive. With the traditional sweet morrocan pancakes, bread and different egg options – you will definitely find something to feed your appetite. Furthermore we were more than happy about the amazing coffee and mint tea as this became one of our favorites during our trip. Of course you can also try the lunch and dinner options at Medina Privilge MarrakechÊ. Or just have some olives, nuts and wine on the spacious rooftop and listen to the traditional music that they are offering every night. 😉
Thanks to the team of Le MedinaÊ for the invitation. This invitation didnÕt influence my review and this post reflects my own opinion.Ê
