LATE SUMMER PLANS

With august coming to an end soon, there is something like bittersweet sadness around it. As a child, I always knew that end of august or beginning of September, the school would start again. Which meant that the big summer holidays would be over. And somehow, this thinking is still stuck in my head (even though school is already over for quite a while for me now lol ;)). So while temperatures are still warm, I cannot stop myself but being a bit sad that summer will be over soon.

But – as I’m getting older and maybe also a bit wiser ;)Ê- with every year passing by, I’m used to that feeling now. Which is why I’m finding ways of dealing with it. On the one hand, I’m really enjoying every sunray and free second to be outside and indulge in the moment. And on the otherÊhand, I’m always trying to find ways to extend my summer. That’s why my Mum and I spontaneously booked our own little summer extension to Marrakech! Yayyy. I couldn’t be happier about this upcoming trip as Marrakech has been on my list for soooo long. I can’t wait to sleep in one of those beautiful Riads, eat tons of oriental food and do some shopping at their magical souks. So if you got any tips for me and my mum – let me know??? ?

BROWN IS BACK

But let’s also talk about today’s look as I’ve been dying to show you more from our shooting in the fields (as the linen combo here). The sun was already going down slowly which made the lighting in these pictures even more special I think. The brown combination was just the perfect addition to the backdrop of the fields. And with the neutral colors being more present than ever, I guess also brown is having a huge comeback. I love to style it with some golden jewelry as well as a little leopard foulard. So what do you think of the brown and today’s combo?
