LA ISLA BONITA
Almost unbelievable but theese pictures have been shot in the middle of Berlin, to be exactly: in one of the most up-an-coming but still a bit dirty area of Neukaelln. So arriving by public transport, I had my doubts if we would really find that pretty spot that i read somewhere about. But yes – and we couldn’t believe our eyes when we entered. In the middle of all those (still a bit dirty) houses and supermarkets and edgy shops, there was this small green spot with lots and lots of flowers and trees and people enjoying the sun. So I guess it’s all about discovering your own city every day again. Being a tourist in your own city.Ê And sometimes you find your own “La Isla Bonita” – even in Berlin- Neukaelln. ?
