After being on phuket for already your nights, we were more than ready for another change in scenery. Moving from Kata Beach to the famous Paying beach , we were a bit worried about the excessive party and clubbing scene there. But Patong beach gas more to offer than clubs: the luxurious Amari Phuket is definitely worth coming here!
Rooms & Accommodation
The Amari Phuket has three different wings: deluxe, superior and the new ocean wing. We were happy to stay at Ocean deluxe clubhouse room. I’ll tell you more what it’s all about to be part of the clubhouse. Our room had such an amazing view over the vsach as well ad a mpdern abd stylish design. Definitely perfectly comfortable and we would have loved to stay much longer than the two last nights. 😉
Pool & Hotel surroundings
The Amari is like a small village for itself. Here you can find everything from restaurants to bars and lounging areas. Moreover, there are sever pls to choose from as well as an own private beach! Of course you can also budge in a massage at the spa or work out at the fitness centre. You easily get around the huge hotel area with the own hotel buggies that being you to any place you like.
The clubhouse
The clubhouse amenities are especially for flu house guests and I wouldn’t want to miss once you experienced them. 🙂 the Clubhouse has it’s own pool with drinks and snacks being served all day. Moreover, there is an amazing happy hour every day with delicious cocktails and canapes. And lady but not least, you get to enjoy your breakfast at the own venue with amazing views over the ocean.
La gritta restaurant
Another Favorite memory of ours is definitely the amazing Italian dinner at the hotel restaurant Is Gritta. Right next to the ocean, we started the night with an amazing aperitif that tasted like the drunken version of mango sticky rice – I absolutely loved it! The starters were seafood antipasti with tasty shrimps, squids and mussels. Definitely the perfect choice for a sea food lover like me! 🙂 And as a main we went for the truffle pasta and seafood risotto. The risotto was definitely the most amazing risotto we ever had – not joking !
And so the Amari was the perfect ending to our holidays. Because even though we thought we didn’t like Phuket that much, the Amari Phuket made us rethinking that thesis – we wow definitely come back here!
Have you been to Phuket and what has been your experiences?
