Two years of home office: that also brought some changes to my work routine. The previously fixed routines of commuting, time at the office, lunch & coffee, interacting with colleagues in person, and winding down at the end of the day have completely shifted. For almost two years now, I’ve been working entirely from home – initially due to COVID, then by choice due to self-employment (and so far, no regrets ;)). However, one thing remains essential in every workday: fresh coffee. Especially when working from home, it’s easy to forget to take breaks. Therefore, brewing fresh coffee and stepping outside for some fresh air has become an important ritual for me.
Whether in moments of stress or to find new inspiration, a short walk outdoors has become part of my daily routines. And it’s even more enjoyable to round it off with a hot, fresh cup of coffee. The FLSK CUP has been accompanying me on these outings lately. I’ve been rather skeptical about insulated cups in the past: too often, they weren’t leak-proof (resulting in unsightly stains in my office bag) or didn’t keep the contents truly warm (cold coffee – oh no!). I can confidently say neither is the case with the CUP. It maintains insulation for up to three hours, and the CUP lids are securely tight. Additionally, it’s very practical: the lids can be exchanged if needed, allowing the CUP’s design to be either monochrome or mix-and-match.
Last but not least, the most important aspect: sustainability. Since I’ve owned an espresso machine, honestly, the coffee I brew myself tastes the best. It’s even better when I can take it directly in a sustainable coffee-to-go cup. This way, no additional waste is generated, and even these little things contribute to sustainability. And to avoid any disputes in our shared household: thanks to the personalization with names or initials engraved, everyone simply gets their own CUP.
