Weekly Review | New In: Jacquemus

Weekly Review

Again, I’m posting a bit delayed this weekly review but the last weeks have been so full of new blogposts that I guess no one noticed that really. 😉 As I had to get some projects done, I mainly focused on new outfit posts, so don’t forget to check out my new series aka Office Dresscode, where you’ll find my office outfits from now on. Also, I’ve been sharing with you one of my favorite labels at the moment: Nanushka. (and the fabulous Bottega Veneta bag ofc). And last but not least, one of my absolute favorite trends at the moment: transparency and organza.

New In: Jacquemus

Simon Porte Jacquemus founded his ready-to-wear-label in 2009 and since then the brand experienced an constant upswing. With oversized straw hats and gigantic straw bags he definitely became the talk of the scene last summer. Jacquemus designs may seem minimalistic but on closer inspection they excite with maximum love for details and sophisticiation. The draped dresses and blouses let us crave for long summer days at the beach and one can definitely feel the passion from Jacquemus for the french riviera, the sea and the sun.

The tiniest ‘Chiquito’ bags, that are not bigger than the palm of a hand became his biggest fashion clou this year. Since then, the ‘Chiquito’ bag has been offered in many different colors and also multiple sizes. As I know the contents of my bags quite well, I knew that I would be in need of the spacier version, the ‘grand chiquito’. And what can I say – it was for sure my best investment of the summer!

Shopping Favorites

Well, apart from my latest purchase in my handbag section, I’m quite obsessed with airy dressed and delicate golden jewelry. My kind of easy-going summer look (at least when summer finally decides to come to Berlin *lol).

Upcoming Plans

Luckily, I’m facing a short week as we are having a public holiday in Germany on Thursday plus I’m having my day off on Friday as well. That gives me plenty of time for new shootings, blog projects and of course travel planning. I’m already seeing so many holiday shots in my timeline that I’m craving the sun and the beach… . But at least, the countdown for New York is on! So there is still some NYC- birthday week -celebration stuff to plan so in case you know a cute place to celebrate there- let me know?

Have a great week babes!
