Hey Loves, as I told you in my other travel postsÊ already, you should definitely rent a car when being on Majorca. There are just so many beautiful villages and regions to discover! So after discovering lots of amazing beaches and the picturesque fisher village of Cala Figuera, another trip we did was to Valldemossa and Son Marroig.
MALLORCA’S CUTEST VILLAGE: VALLDEMOSSA
Valldemossa is probably the most famous village of Majorca. Located in the north of the island, it took us about an hour to get there, but it was worth every minute. I would recommend you to arrive early, as lots of tourist are coming throughout the day. So at 10 or 11 in the morning, youÕll still have the small village mostly for yourself. (After 12pm, the streets were really crowded!)
There are lots of cute alleys and corners, so prepare yourself for some serious photo action. 😉 Also, you can visit several churches or monuments and enjoy the view from different points throughout the city.
SON MARROIG – VIEWPOINT & WEDDING LOCATION No 1.
Only a short drive from Valldemossa away, the beautiful monument and museum of Son Marroig can be found. There is a viewpoint right next to the parking lot. But if you want to get inside the Son Marroig monument, youÕll need to turn left and pay an entrance fee of around 4Û (which is totally worth it!). The site includes an old manor house including museum, a garden and the beautiful white chapel which is probably one of the most popular locations for weddings on Majorca. 🙂
