The baltic coast has always been special to me – born in the hanseatic city of Rostock, I guess it just lays within my blood. So apart from visiting the family, any village or city around the baltic coast just feels like home to me. And with that being said: I always feel attached to it and need a certain amount of weekends next to the sea. Last weekend, it was about time again.
Cosy Chic on the seaside with JOSEPH
Even though the weather predictions did not look that well, we packed our suitcases and swished away to the lovely small city of Binz, located on Germany’s biggest island named Ruegen. And while having the first walk on the beach, I could not help but feel relieved and so relaxed. The cold wind was blowing but to be honest: I love the baltic sea in any weather. And after a long walk at the beach, nothing feels better than heating up in the sauna and enjoying some fresh fish afterwards for dinner.
My suitcase for this short trip mostly contained of cosy and warm pieces from JOSEPH like the softest cashmere sweater, a relaxed knit dress and a camel suit and coat. Staying within the same color palette and mixing neutrals is probably one of the best ideas when travelling with a small weekender.
