Last stop on our Sabbatical through Asia was Bangkok– we already been twice in the city and totally fell in love! This time, we went for a stay at the Muse – a Bangkok Boutique Hotel.
The Muse has a charming interior with a stylish combination of western and eastern influences. The dark wood and marble seem classic but with a modern twist! And already when entering the lobby, you can feel at home and relaxed. Plus, the gym and rooftop pool are such a stunner and will make your stay perfect!
The Suites & Room options
The Muse Bangkok offers different room and suite options with six room categories that were inspired by Buddhist cosmology – sounds interesting right? We stayed at the “Jatu Deluxe” that represents Jatu, which is the first level of heaven. And yes – these rooms are supercomfy and do feel like a small piece of heaven in the buzzing streets of Bangkok.
One of the highlights is definitely the bathroom with a supercool bathtub and the big window that still makes it possible to enjoy Bangkok’s skyline while having a bubble bath! And with that said: second highlight for us was for sure the amazing view from the Muse rooms! Watching the sun rise and going down with the amazing panorama of Bangkok’s skyscraper is such a must.
Breakfast & Dining options
The Muse Bangkok definitely has more than enough options when it comes to food. The day starts with breakfast at the Babette’s, which is also an amazing Steakhouse in Bangkok. The breakfast offers many options from western and asian cuisine including loads of juices, smoothies and fruit for an energized start into the day. We also tried the Babette’s for their special lunch menu and fell in love with the homemade fish & chips – sooo good!
Another must is the Medici – the Italian Restaurant Bangkok and therefore perfect for your dinner! We tried the seafood pasta as well as the truffle pizza – both so delicious. And the flair of an old bodega with the beautiful decor will make you stay even longer, for a glass of wine or too. 😉
Pool & Rooftop Area
As mentioned earlier, the rooftp area at the Muse Bangkok will leave you speachless! First, you can hit the gym with a stunning view of the skyscrapers and have your morning run here. And then: dip into the infinity rooftop pool.
Such an amazing view and you can take it even higher from here: on the top floor, you’ll find the “Speakeasy”Bangkok Rooftop Bar”. With stunning views, delicious cocktails and snacks it’s the perfect place watching the sunset settle over Bangkok.
Thanks to the team of Muse Bangkok for the invitation. This invitation didnÕt influence my review and this post reflects my own opinion.
