COZY BEIGE KNIT & RED SOCK BOOTS

So Janine and I shot this outfit just the other day, and while we were walking around in the western part of Berlin in search of a good location, I thought that it might be helpful to collect some location information here on the blog. Berlin has lots of different scenarios to offer. So of course there are graffiti walls as well as old architecture with romantic facades as well as newly built, modern architecture. So you will definitely find the perfect background for any kind of outfit I would say. 🙂
While shooting this look with the cozy beige knit and the red sock boots we still had quite nice sunny weather here in Berlin. But I think you can also just pair it with a camel coat and it will still looks stylish yet more warm. 😉

BLOGGER TIPPS | SHOOTING LOCATIONS BERLIN

Nikolai quarter

The Nikolai quarter (“Nikolaiviertel”) is near to the Alexanderplatz and offers lots of cute houses and facades with a romantic touch. Perfect for summer looks or pastel outfits like this one.

Museum Island

Lots of my outfits (for example here and here) have also been shot at the Museum Island (Museumsinsel) around the area of Hackescher Markt. If you want to shoot here, make sure that you arrive early (especially on the weekend).

Stadtmitte / Gendarmenmarkt

Another location, which offers lots of nice pillars and corners for photos (see outfits here and here). Again, make sure that you don’t arrive too late to get around the masses of people.

Teufelsberg

If you have a bit more time, take the car and get outside of Berlin to the Teufelsberg. Definitely a very unique location, with lots of graffiti walls etc. – see here.

BUNDESTAG

Just around the area of Bundestag there are lots of nice spots for shooting. I especially like to clear architecture with lots of glass and concrete. Perfect for statement looks like this one with the leo coat or this with the military jacket.

Gardens of the world [Gärten der Welt]

Also best if you have a car and some extra time, as this location is a bit outside of Berlin (in the area of „Marzahn“.) There are lots of different locations here for nice photo shootings – as you can see in this outfit at the Morrocan garden.

Botanical Garden

You love Cacti and exotic plants as much as I do? Then this place is definitely yours! The Botanical Garden (Botanischer Garten) is in the south of Berlin and perfect for bad weather days as you can shoot indoors. Check it out here.

Area around Ku’Damm & Friedrichstraße

If you are more into streetstyles, then the streets either around the Ku’Damm (Kurfürstendamm) and Friedrichstraße will be best for you. For example, today’s look has been shot right next to KuDamm at the Walther-Benjamin-Platz (like this one here as well.) Also, you should check out the streets next to Friedrichstraße, as you can see in this look right here.

So I hope this list was helpful for you and let me know which kind of Blogger Tips you’d be interested in general? Of course Berlin has lots of different sights and locations which are interesting for shootings – so there are plenty more. But maybe this could be your location guide for your next berlin visit or also just an inspiration for your own city to discover new locations. And let me know which is your preferred background for streetstyle & outfit shootings?
